It is time to quit this profession. I have absolutely lost my love of teaching. I can no longer manage a classroom. I can no longer get students learning. I have failed 110%.
My head hurts so badly right now. And I started the day so happy I could have died from happiness.
Have you had spring break yet? Because this sounds just like I am feeling right now (and many times in the past at this point in the year). After a break I am better able to remember how much I love my students and my job.
ReplyDeleteI also, occasionally, look back at my students' old work as a reminder to myself how much they have learned and are learning. It might be in spite of me sometimes, but they are making progress!
Sadly, I have. :( It's AIMS testing that's getting me down right now.
